We’re stoked to announce the launch of The Baseline Review! TBR is working on a book that celebrates iconic players in hoops history. We’ve teamed up with over 30 amazing writers to dig into these inspiring tales from the hardwood! We’re also collaborating with over 30 of our favorite illustrators to help with supporting visuals for the stories! This an absolute creative dream team. We are so hyped on the work and think you will be, too! 

Ok, so you’re probably thinking “Why the H would you make screen printed—and giclee—versions of these stories?” Great question! We’re leaning into our printmaking background to make something unique that will also help us kickstart the rest of the content for the full book. In short, buy an individual story for your favorite player and we will use those funds to produce the next story.

 The target date for the full book is Fall 2026 / Spring 2027. A portion of the sale of each stand-alone story is donated to basketball youth programs in the USA. The Baseline Review is produced by Fifty-Nine Parks.

We are rippin' a soft launch of the site today with our Bill Russell story. On October 22nd we'll release the Bird & Magic stories. We'll be making updates to the website these next few weeks (right now the mobile version needs some love). We've been working on the content for the book for over a year now. We're eager to share this work with y'all—and perfect is the enemy of good—so we're flipping the switch on our site now. We'll tighten up the experience and will have interviews up asap!
